"Earlier this year you took the trouble to order a cordless Bahco grinder (BCL32DG1K1) set for me and thought you may like to know that it has proved to be an invaluable piece of kit working on the car over the last six months, a really good purchase.

More detailed feedback includes the following:

1  As a car DIYer I do not have a ramp so the vehicle is up on axle stands and suspect that this battery grinder is a lot easier to use in such circumstances, working underneath the vehicle, than grinders that require an air line. Much of the work has involved using rotary wire brushes and abrasive wheels to clean off corrosion.

2   The device is comfortable to hold and can be used with confidence when doing more precise work where fine control is needed. If it slips or snags the cut out mechanism works promptly which provides reassurance.

3  The batteries keep their charge even if left for weeks without using them, and performance has been very good. The lights at the base are useful as indicators for level of charge.

4  It has also been used on welding jobs using small cutting disc and grinding wheel attachments.
